みなとまつり

お盆で東北に帰省中、初めて立ち寄った漁港の町で。
偶然、巡り合った地域の夏祭り。
掲げられた大漁旗、廃材アートのオブジェ、地元のおばちゃんたちの踊り、
アコースティックライブ、クリアファイルの灯籠…
明るい時間も、暗くなってからも、みんなすてきで、かっこよくて、美しくて。
内輪のたのしげな雰囲気がありながら、よそ者にも決して排他的な素振りはなく。
娘たちにも、にこにこと声をかけてくれる。
こじんまりとして、絶妙な空間作りとぬくもり、居心地の良さ。
こんなうれしい遭遇は、まさに旅の醍醐味だなと思う。
The Harbor Festival
During the Obon holiday trip, we happened to see a summer festival
in the small harbor town we've never been.
A big fishing boat flag was displayed,
a junk art work was set up as the symbol of the festival,
dances by local ladies, acoustic show, and handmade lanterns ....
Everything was cool, nice and beautiful there light and dark.
Even the local people had fun among themselves,
we didn't feel out of place at all.
They nicely talked to our little daughters with smiling.
Small, intimate and pleasant atmosphere they created was there.
Such a happy encounter could be the best part of traveling, I think.
